BBC America's Develop a Point of View Campaign

The OBIE Award is outdoor advertising's greatest honor and the BBC's interactive voting billboard in NYC's Times Square stole the show with three awards including 2007 Best of Show.

Unwired Appeal's Mobile Application Platform (UMAP™) provided the back-end technology that enabled pedestrians and motorists to vote on controversial topics via text-message. Large digital counters kept track of the poll counts in real-time.

The promotion was part of a larger campaign created by BBDO for the BBC's launch of a new USA-focused news program BBC America.
