November 30, 2004 - Unwired Appeal and Realmessages Launch SMS Trivia with the American Basketball Association

Boston, MA - November 30, 2004 -- Following the signing of a strategic partnership, Unwired Appeal and Realmessages have launched one of the largest SMS Trivia games and SMS sweepstakes in USA history for the American Basketball Association (ABA).

In their 2004-2005 league debut, the ABA has incorporated ABA SMS Trivia where fans can demonstrate their knowledge of original league history by answering weekly questions sets sent to their cell phones. Each question answered is also entered in the sweepstakes with thousands of dollars in prizes awarded in weekly and grand finale drawings.

Fans can easily register by text-messaging the word PLAY to short code 42349 from their cell phones or visiting www.abalive.com. Once registered, participants are sent a weekly set of questions and automatically entered in the tie-in sweepstakes.

"We have been working closely with Realmessages and the ABA to launch this event", commented Stephen Nye, director of business development at Unwired Appeal. "Taking into account the ABA's growing fan base and nationwide broadcast audience, we expect the promotion to be one of the largest premium SMS campaigns to date in the USA."

The driving force behind the ABA Trivia campaign is the partnership between Boston-based Unwired Appeal and Las Vegas-based Realmessages. While Unwired Appeal is primarily a wireless technology firm, Realmessages brings the marketing experience needed to access a broader customer base.
