TV Launches Text2Win
Boston, MA - July 1, 2005 - Unwired Appeal provides
SMS sweepstakes and SMS alert services to MSG Network.
During live broadcasts of NY Mets and NY Liberty games
on MSG Network, fans can send an SMS message and win.
The "Text and Watch 2 Win Big!" campaign is
a multi-level interactive events aimed engaging fans
and increasing audience size. During Mets and Liberty
games in July and August, fans are given the opportunity
to enter by sending an SMS message with thier name to
a designated 5-digit short code.
Each game there is an live on-air drawing were four
contestants are picked from the entries. The first contestant
to call the toll-free number wins that night's prize.
The grand prize of an HDTV is up for grabs during the
last Mets game in August on MSG.
The event also employs an SMS alert system where fans
are reminded to tune into the night's game to watch
and win.
